This song is not sad at all! It is full of love and hope.
At no time are we alone to face the ups and downs of our lives! God is always there. When we think He has abandonned us because we can only see one set on footprints behind us. It is not because we are alone. It is because He is carrying us! God's love for each one of us is amazing. He is faithful beyond belief.
