This is most simply about addiction. Using drugs and alcohol to push down the feelings. The biggest clue comes when she talks about "here comes the shame" the next morning. There is no greater shame for an addict/alcoholic than the next day, after the havoc from the day before. She talks about living like tomorrow doesn't exist, for me this means she doesn't know if tomorrow is coming or if she even wants it to.
