The moment I heard this song I could literally see my baby brother. He took his life about 4 years ago. The lyrics were hitting me in a place I had not allowed my heart to feel yet and if this song is not about suicide. I am literally going to need the writers themselves to explain what the hell it is about. I don’t often bother to think too much meaning into songs because there are so many different things each one can be related to. But I I do not think that even someone who has no feelings (sociopathic) could listen to this song and not hear the pain in the words this song has in every note. Unfortunately I knew long before he died how much he wanted to and I could do nothing and I tried. But when someone is in the pain (agony) these incredible people that many times have already reached out but are either ignored by those they are grasping for the hurt and judgement is too much for them and by that time someone like myself cannot get to them in time. I beg to all of you. SUICIDE IS NOT SELFISH THESE INDIVIDUALS DO NOT SEE AN OUT. please help. Please don’t turn a blind eye. I promise it will come back tenfold. That’s not a threat it’s me having watched 2 “friends” of his that the guilt is eating at their own souls now have to live with not knowing if picking up one of his calls.
