I think the meaning of this song is that she lived with her boyfriend/husband, and they used to get along well, but something happened, & now she just wants out. I know this feeling. I used to live with my bf, but then he F*ked up & all I wanted to do was burn his house down & leave. My favorite part is "pictures framing up the past, your taunting smirk behind the glass" b/c when I had to see the pictures of me & my ex, it was terrible b/c he had a smirk on his face in all of them!

This song's meaning is about the man who lost his loved one, and he had no way of getting her back. However, he was telling her that he loved her, & he wanted her to wait for him. He probably lost the love b/c he did something wrong that made her mad, & so he is asking her to wait for him to change. He is saying his curse is his mistakes, his past, his needing for something else. When he says "Your silence haunts me but still I hunger for you", he is saying that she is shunning him off, & making him feel bad, but yet he still wants her. I have been through this before, when I messed up, my boyfriend wouldn't speak to me & he was a jerk, but yet I still wanted him.
