I think the meaning of this song is to save your virginity and love for someone better. A real boyfriend won't rush you to have s** and possibly rape you. A real boyfriend will accept the fact that you will wait and possibly, he will do it, too. Love is just another drug that needs to be used very carefully. Overdose on it, you'll end up with a baby, a boyfriend who obiously hates you, and regret.
