Meaning
It speaks about Geisha, obviously, and how hard their lives are. You know, they are not people free to love. They have to put their emotions aside because it is part of their work. "They have nowhere else to go", this lyric is about geisha of older times I think, they were sold to geisha houses or "okiya" and they learned this job from kids. What else could they do?
