Well. I think it's about a father singing to his daughter a kind of love song and singing about her. He knows that she'll not stay small and at home for ever and that someday a man would want to ask for her hand. But what he is really saying is that she may not stay a little girl but she'll stay his little girl and he will always love her with his whole heart.
I just want to say: That it is my favourite song. Mostly it touches my heart so much that I'm near to crying 'cause I know that my father thought that way. Though he died. And I miss him so much. And this song and voise just reminds me of him.
