It kinda makes me think about the things I know about people I know and myself. You can get yourself so down in a bit of a hell, but after a while you can grow addicted to the pain and suffering that you get from it, you let people know but let yourself go too far and no one can help you out of what you have gotten into, and it just affects everything about your mental state which makes you feel as if there is no one else but yourself.
And then the last line in the song "I'm too weird to live but much too rare to die" just fits in with the rest of it. Such a confusing life style and way of thinking that people may fear you. And yadda. My ramblings shall stop lol.
But awesome song ^^

You almost think that Avenged is deranged if ya pay attention to the words in the song. It is kinda funny though (don't care how weird that makes me sound).
But even if you don't see the music video and just hear the song, it only takes a couple times hearing it to know it's not just a normal every day song lol.
And if you think of it, other than the twisted and disgusting parts to it, it's actually a decent love song lol. In its own sick way.
But it's a kick a* song none the less.

How could anyone really think that this song is about drugs? Just because they are a rockin kick a* band doesn't mean that they sing about drugs, honestly people listen to the lyrics.
He is singing about a girl that has passed away and that he has been given a chance to say goodbye to her and getting a second chance. There is always more to it but that is basic.
