I personally love this song, I've been listening to it for the past 3 full days.
I'm not quite sure what its actually about. But I think its about, the singer trying to convince themselves they're feeling good and that life's good. If you read the lyrics rather than just heard the song, you'd think its a happy bouncy song, But I think Matthew Bellamy is singing his soul out in this. Amazing stuff.

This song is about a hole pile of things, it could be about a relationship growing and starting, a student going from high school to university, a little kid learning how to ride a bike. Take things one step at a time, live the moment. Its a great lively song & to all those people that don't like it, you don't have to & you probably don't take things one step at a time.
