Human, as natural being, is self centered. This affects most of our thoughts and actions. Most "Christians" live their lives with great efforts and care to make heaven so as to escape the present and future sufferings. The writer of this lovely song admonishes that the focus of Christians should be the Christ. It's not as much as what further we can get from Him than the glory of meeting Him face to face, being with Him, touching Him - The One who gave Himself for our salvation (all round salvation). Heaven doesn't have the ability to make us righteous, Jesus does. So it's Him we should look at - Heb 12:2. It's the hope of seeing Him as He is and being like Him that makes us crave a life of purity here on earth - 1 John 3:2-3. If there is no heaven, if there is no hell, I'll still love You Jesus for You love me more than I can ever do. Thank You Jesus.
