I've loved this song for over a yr and it just dawned on me that its a song about breaking up. It always reminded me of my grandma and grandpa. This whole time I thought it had to do with losing someone that's died, probably based on the part. I should be thankful for everyday, heaven knows what the future holds or at least how the story goes, I never believed it till now, I know i'll see you again I'm sure no its not selfish to ask for more one more night one more day one more smile on your face but they can't take yesterday. I thought it meant I should be thankful for the time we had, that I never believed they would die but god knew what our future held, that I wish I could spend just one more day with them, but even though they are gone nothing could take the memories they gave me.
