It means you should let people know your inside before they could judge your outside. He feels lonely because everyone judges him on the outside. People always feel that. It doesn't matter is you're skinny or fat, small or tall, clean or messy because what if you were in their shoes? Won't it hurt to not have anyone noticing you? I think this song has the most impact on me. I love it. Thanks, fm Static.

It means that he gets the inspiration to not stop trying from God. It also means that he's tired of doing the things he's doing but won't stop because he knows that he's not out here on his own. He feels like turning around and going back to that empty space but every time God told him to push and keep his head up, it kept him on track from letting himself get fed up.
