Now, that is a sad song.
I think the song is about loving someone who wants gold and all you can ever be is silver. No use trying so damn hard to be somebody else that the other person wants you to be 'cause in the end they still love someone else and not you. So let that person go, because being silver will never make them forget that what they really want is gold.

The composer of this song (the winner of the song writing competition in ai) must be brilliant and he really knows what a winning song means. That and dc, that's a hit!
It's amazing how dreams can fuel you up no matter how exhausted you are of the long fight. As long as you focus on the prize and give it your best shot, you're bound to win. The way dc did. =)

I am forever in love with this song and when I heard dc sing it, it almost made me cry. I love aerosmith's version and I think they would be quite proud on how dc sang it. He was like glorious while singing it. Sounded like a pro! I got goosebumps when he hit the high notes!
Wish they'd do a song together. They'd sound good. Can't wait to get my hands on his album.
Anyone knows if Analog Heart is available in the Philippines?

Every body knows this song and I hear it being played in all kinds of media (ipods, mp3s, computers, fone, radio, name it, they play it!)
Actually, I love it when mariah sang it but I fell in love with it when dc made a cover of this. He made it sound like it's his own song and I think that's what made him such a big hit.
And I am still waiting for his album after ai.

I have like ten songs from analog heart and I listen to them over and over. Am I weird for that?
