I am not sure what Sondre was trying to convey with this song. Its meaning to me was what I was going through in my former marriage. I came to distrust him and it was like sleeping on needles being around him. I let him know what that I knew what he was doing and that it was the truth. I could not sleep when he was around. Imagine sleeping on a bed of needles. You can not.
