Ummm. So reckon this song is about young, crazy teenage love. "a teenage vow in a parking lot, till tonight do us part" after a movie or something basically saying i'll love you until I can't love you any more. Till the end of the night love the whole scripture/ shakespearish sort of style in the chorus. It really makes it unique one of my fave songs of all timexd I love fob 4 eva.

Yes. I'm sooo agreeing! Pete ha the most amazing lyrics. During an interview with ap he said that he tried to write this album from all the band members P. O. V so I'm guessing that this song was written about joe and his recent engagement. I think pete is trying to convey the message of joe may not be to sure about the engagement yet his fiance completes him. And I think that he is promising the fiance anything for him to experience this part of his life again, maybe he had a former relationship that didn't turn out so well? Idk.

Well I think I just figured this out. "so testosterone boys and harlequinn girls, will you dance to this beat and hold alover close" from what I noe, harlequinn means a fool. So boys raging with hormones are going aroung looking for love. The girls are fools and give them what they want. They become so madly in love because of their states. Omfg! I sooo love this song. Well in the line "would u rather be a widow or a divorcee" I think they mean would you rather end the relationship by something that wasn't your fault (widow) or by something that you caused and went ahead with (divorce) idk.
