Who is the girl with the porcelain face and the heart of glass? Why does she hurt him and treat him that way? Who is it that he knows he wants as she walks away, and why is she leaving? I know most song writers get their lyrics from their own real life experiences. He wrote these songs several years ago, so I guess its water under the bridge now, even though I'm sure there's a little stab in the heart even now. Too much emotion went into this album to have been an insignificant relationship.

This girl, the one he did wrong, he wants to rekindle the relationship; he realizes he loves her, he wants her to remember how it was when she loved him. He wants to revive the relationship in this very moment that they are once again together, even though the relationship has been so broken it feels right at this moment and he's trying to convince her that it can be right again.

There is someone in his past who really loved him but his selfish actions hurt this girl terribly and once again he realizes he's really messed up but its too late. The damage has been done and it's over, she's moving on and now he has to live with what he's done and is left hurting and sorry. This seems to be the ongoing theme to many of these songs on Analog Heart.
