This is the anthem of my life. When I have an idle mind, it goes to places it shouldnt and "i could pull the steering wheel" (aka kill myself). Music is a good way to keep your mind active if it's good music and who listens to crap music anyway? So I try to keep myself busy (my car radio) so that my mind doesn't fly away (sitting in silence) and I commit (pull the steering wheel). Also "it's on my sleeve my skin will scream" to me that's like cutting, I "kill butterflies" (self harmers know what I'm talking about) & it's hard to hide everything. We need a safe place. And god is my safe place.

This song is really beautiful like yes we feel this way, it hurts, we get ourselves into trouble. We can have our "vices". Sometimes we even run from god without realizing it. But the only thing that can really get us through this life is god. Our vices cannot help us, "we cant do this on our own". God is the only one who really can help. This is a cry out to god to save him from himself and it is my prayer as well. For god to "take all of my guilt and pride" because "i want to know him sincerely" and not have my sins in the way. Love this band. I love you matty.
