I think this song is about a girl who is dating a guy and them she starts to realize that hes cheating on her. Like when she says "i caught them barking at the moon" it's like "I caught my boyfriend cheating on me with this other girl" and when she says "Sweet little lie" its like him saying "No I love you I'm not cheating on you" So. Yeah that's what I think the song means.
