Whoo hoo! Kelly clarkson is baaaccckk! I have been waiting and waiting and waiting for her to come back with a new album and finally she has. I think she is an awesome rolemodel. She is sooo down to earth. Well anyways I think this song is about her knowing this guy for a really long time, like since childhood. She realized no matter what her life would be nothing without him no matter how much they fight.

It is about her falling in love once and him having to go off to war. He I think told her to forget about him and move on to someone else in case something had happened to him while he was gone. Well he actually did get shot in combat. So then she realized that she had to move on. So then she is talking about her being married and everytime she is with him she is thinking of her lost love. This song makes me feel really sad deep down inside. The very first time I saw the music video I almost cried. I think Katy Perry actually did a very serious and adult thing when she wrote this song. I love it. Keep writing katy!
