I think this song is talking about his girlfriend who died just in the way he is always mentioning the sky and "stars leaning down to kiss you" and "watching the night turn light blue" so he is looking to the sky for her and also he menitions wings but that's just my oppinion x
This is one of my fave songs though it is so beautiful and calming like all owl city songs are!
