I don't really understand this song, the meaning gets lost in the imagery. I won't say I don't like it, but I won't let my little sister listen to it, because she might take something from it that I don't. I think it is about how fake people are and how destructive people are. I don't know though. U2 also refers to a woman as a "black cat", I guess I should look up the term for other meanings.

Ok, what I said was actually rather on the nice side. Usually their voices sound more fake than 80's pop. My younger sister wouldn't believe me that they said "Chuck Taylor' which is a type of converrse shoe, the original actually. I was going to see if it was on this page. But in case you did not notice I did say that this song was good.
But in general, they are a band more about good image than good music.
