It is the acknowledgement of a love from the past; it lingers for the one left loving. It is an expression of one's feelings, knowing the loved one has moved on. The memories flood, and keep alive the loss of love gone on. The hope of being seen, would ignite the memories, and cause the love to feel the loss. She feels compelled to say she will find someone like him, whom she loves, yet the fact is, it is a statement, no real belief it will ever happen. It is difficult for her to forget.
