I think it's about a guy, who's in love with a girl who does pills and drinks alcohol and he loves her so much, that he "won't give up" on her, because he loves her that much. And he thinks he can save her from herself. And this has gone on so long that their legs begin to break and their lungs begin to ache. Their love is the only thing keeping them together.
