To me, this song is about leaving the person that he loves for maybe college or something like that("one more year, and ill be heading of on my own"). But he doesn't want to leave her or the town that he grew up in. ("leaving friends and the place that i call home, i dont wanna go.") and in the chorus, he is remebering all the times him and his grilfriend have spent together. I believe this is how any person going to college feels when they have to leave someone they love behind. This song is adorable.
