This is a fantastic song testifying to the awesome might of the lord our God. He who revealed Himself fully in His own Son Jesus of Nazareth. Frankly, I don't know how people can read the Scriptures of the Israelites and then read the New Testament and not see how He fulfilled over a hundred prophecies that would identify Himself as the Messiah. He was born as a descendant of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, from the tribe of Judah, and of the house of David, born in Bethlehem. He was a greater prophet than Moses, and is known as the Son of God. He made the blind see, the deaf hear, and the dead live. After doing so much good, He was accused by false witnesses and beaten, tortured, and spat upon, before being rejected and killed. He was betrayed by a friend for thirty pieces of silver, yet was silent before His accusers. He was hated for no reason, mocked and sneered at, had His hands and feet pierced but no broken bones, had His clothing gambled for, was crucified, was given vinegar and gall to drink, and after dying was resurrected. While he went though this, He was abandoned by all those who said they loved Him. While He was dead, He was buried with the rich, though he died the worst death possible (alongside criminals).
