A couple more years;an older person is telling a younger person that he has more experience of life. He tells the younger person that she is inexperienced and is only starting out in life. he says in years to come that she will say exactly the same to her child. A couple more years; A father is telling his daughter that he has had more experience of life than she has, because he is older than her. He has seen it all. He has lived through hard times, while she has had no experience;he tells her she ain't seen nothing yet. In contrast to her he's at the end of his days, and realises that he didn't achieve his ambitions. He stresses that he doesn't claim to be wiser than she is. He has just been through a lot more. And he predicts that in years to come when she is older she will smile and say exactly the same thing to her son. She will smile and tell him she has more experience of life than he has. That she has a couple more years on him.
