She's trying to prove herself to this guy that maybe hasn't noticed or thinks he's too good for her. They are in the same place and yet miles apart, so apart the only thing they have in common is sleeping under the sky. But she dreams that they can fly, which I think means that they can be together which draws me to Lois Lane/ Superman lore which I love. She tells him that he can run and hide but she's right beside him in this life, letting him know that even though he's pushing her away she's there for him going through the same things. Then she tells him that he's her comfort, and not a superstar, so it doesn't matter to her what his title is or his occupation as she vows to give him things he won't give himself. A lovely song, reminds me of my own unrequited lover. It's a real bittersweet song.
