Yes, I would like to know what everything Black means? To me, it means a poem I wrote to my son in prison. Everything was black when my son left at the age of 15 years to service time in prison. Everything. my sight, my smell, my taste, everything that I could hear, see, feel, taste, and smell was black. You see it was a hard time for me my oldest son in prison for murder, he did not come home for 16 years. You can only imagine how I felt as a black mother. Everything was truly black, living in the Eastend projects
