The world will end, the are leaving to outer space, or another planet, he does not want to feel guilty or be resented as a coward so he sings us this song to claim that he is human and not perfect, but he has a choice to leave this world so he will take it, he has assurance of survival in the day to end to come, but none of the rest which will be left behind, he cannot be who we are when the time comes as in believing in God as he does not he beleives in science and fact, and the rest of us left in our blind faith is someone he cannot be, as he leaves this world.
