I'm not much into french, but I think it's relatively simple: The singer complains that she's experiencing nothing (rien de rien = nothing of nothing). "Nothing happens for me ... I ask to myself why? ... In the morning when I go to bed ... everything is quite normal and quiet .. and I would like there were something not normal ... There - a couple murmuring - I expect a love affair - but everybody goes to his own chamber - two people speaking in low voice ... I change my place to overhear them ... but I only understand "yes", "no". And so on.
