D*k Valentine is telling his love interest that she should have no fear of the android that he has created in her absence. She has applied to the University of Wisconsin (where the Badgers go) and is leaving him, forever. She has also just ingested a "psychedelic", and is "getting kind of high". The robot is freaking her out, so Valentine must assuage her fears by telling her not to be afraid. Did I mention that this story takes place in a laundromat? Mr. Valentine is getting his clothes dried and Mr. Yee, the owner, has shut the washing/ drying machines off, forcing Valentine to order him to "Turn those machines back on". That is all.
