As a Christian, I'm deeply moved by this song because their is a battle going on for our souls. Between a God who loves us, and sent his son on our behalf, and the fallen angel Lucifer who wants to take us to eternal damnation. This song draws some parallels with the Christian faith in that their is a spiritual war taking place for our souls, as we try to find meaning and purpose in how we should live. The meaning of this song to me is what we choose to follow and the consequences of those choices. I know the end of this story journey draws a peacefull conclusion with the heart and mind united in a harmonius relationship between the two opposing forces. As a Christian, I know there will be a different outcome! These guys are deep thinkers and great story tellers in the music they make, and that's why I can appreciate their music even though Secular. Faith and trust in Jesus Christ is our one and only hope!
