The first time I got to know this song I was about to sit for my high school exam at Lobatse Senior, Botswana. My Class Teacher, Ms Lillington from Cambodia gave every one in our class a 'good luck' card, with this message inside. To me this wasn't just a message, it was life itself. By then, 1998, I was only 18, but this message was so clear to me, and I took it so seriously. I embraced these words dearly in my heart, my soul, and my whole being, and I never wanted to lose 'em. I promised myself that I would forever keep this card, as a souvenir from a loving teacher, and would forever share these powerful words with those I care about. I have long lost touch with her but in my heart and memories she is so much alive. It's these words that always see me through this challenging journey of life. Wherever she is, I pray that she be richly blessed.
