Yes, this song is very special to me. I had a dream that Dylan came to see me. He was upset about something so this was a perfect tune to sing to him, in my mind. I pulled out my guitar and sang I thought very well his own music back to him and I remembered every lyric easily. What it means to me personally is gaining a perspective on life where you're so neutral, with emotions balanced, not angry, basically just in a balanced state emotionally, that you're at the creative place where something could happen, but you really haven't a clue what, or even why that person is on your mind, you just know they are on your mind. You just want them to know you've been thinking about them. And you think you know them well, but still you got no place to take the next thought, so the only thing to say is you been on my mind. I was never sure in the dream if he liked my singing, but anyway, I enjoyed it!
