This song was written on a rainy winter day in Seattle. Is there any other kind in Seattle? Anyway, they had booked a tour with poor management and they were sitting in their hotel room depressed, and this is the song that expressed their feelings at the time. Oh, and for anyone that has not lived in Seattle, Winter can be a, bit depressing at times but we also have a lot more sun that we are given credit for.
