It is New Order, the famous and excellent Manchester band, mourning the death of the brilliant Ian Curtis, lead singer and lyricist of Joy Division. The whole album (Movement) seems to be about their shock, grief, anger and guilt they feel about his suicide. Rest in nothingness Ian, you made your impact on the world, more than most of us ever do.

Ian Curtis, the lead singer and lyric-writer with Joy Division, and the uk's most heart-bursting poet. He killed himself in 1981 because he could not bear the strain of falling in love with someone when he was already married. A true human being, I wish there were more people like him. If you haven't heard Joy Division's two albums (Unknown Pleasures and Closer) and New Order's first album after his death (Movement), do it. And if they don't move you, I pity you.
