When I first heard this song I thought it was about the usual thing, y'know, like a relationship between a guy and a girl but now I'm not so sure. Maybe that's what it was written for, I don't know, but to me, right at this moment I just think it could be about any relationship we may have in our lives. Between children and parents, husband and wife, teacher and student, two friends. I don't know, it affects every part of our lives. Everyone who has commented has basically said the same thing. I guess you can end up taking someones crap for so long, thinking that's what you're supposed to do. Like you grow up in the mentality where this is your life and you learn to accept it. But then you see maybe through their actions or words that really, they're no better than you and all the crap they've been spitting means nothing. It doesn't touch you anymore. They don't belong n your life and you'll never let it happen again.

This song reminds me of being desperate with feelings of hopelessness. Like when you're overwhelmed with the idea of what the other person thinks of you. If their feelings are as intense. Or they just don't care. But no one ever says anything. And neither do you. You don't wanna be the one who's on show, like with the light on, where everyone can see you. But, then you don't wanna be the one pouring your heart out in the dark to find out that they have gone or were never there to start. So much risk, isn't it? To be honest. Haha, now I read the lyrics again, what I said doesn't fit. Maybr it's just a mood thing.

I think that sometimes you find that person who gets you through certain times, an maybe this sounds cruel or whatever but it beats being lonely. So you stay with them. And then, when it turns serious, you wonder why they don't view it the same way. But you're looking for someone else, someone who is on the same level. But that's just me. Or maybe, you're with that person but they're not ready and you are or vice versa. And you're kinda waiting for it to happen?
