Dear lovefraud,
I am dating and in love with a sociopath. I swear this song was written to me. It is many things and at the very least, stressful. You definitely interpreted this quite well. I only disagree w a few things. When she says, "We could have had it all." it isn't directed towards someone mentally healthy or anyone else. It is directed at the former lover/sociopath. She is saying we could have had it all bc my heart was in your hand. Meaning, the sociopath is in control that she would do anything for him but he chose something over her. I often think this type of guy has to have an extreme /addictive personality. He is self sabtoging, and thus sabotoged their relationship by choosing his hidden life over her.
