Muse – Uprising

I have to concur with chobbuk and ring of power on this one. Muse seem very much aware and concerned with the agenda "they" are pushing, which in my humble opinion, seems to be the consolidating of power via a one world government as alluded to in another Muse song, United States of Eurasia. Now, I am by no means a "conspiracy theorist." In fact, I'm very much wary of anyone who claims to know "the truth," conspiracy theorist or otherwise. But it's getting harder and harder to ignore this s*t, especially when its being referenced in music more frequently and overtly (check out nwo references in the music of jay z, velvet revolver, soundgarden, Tupac, and too many others to mention). They may just be playing with the concept in a tongue in cheek way, but in most cases it comes off seriously. This is just an observation, but I'd love to hear your guys' take on this. How real is this "conspiracy"?

First of all, this is a great f*****g song. To me, the lyrics express people's unanimity over the current wars as both unwinnable and unjustified, as well as the frustration of being unable to do anything about it, and thus having to rely on the leaders we already don't trust. Furthermore, they also seem to express an antagonistic view of the consolidating of the world powers in the form of the one world government which we are currently moving towards.
