I think this song really is just a lash on us. We expect so much out of Vic for this album and I think that's why he says that basically no matter what he does someone will be unhappy with him. I think it's named Phantom Power And Ludicrous Speed because we all rushed him so much for this album and he kinda took that anger out and created this song. I really could be wrong on this one, but honestly that's what I got from it. He was just telling us to chill out. I also think he was scared of losing us because we are his whole world now. When he said "I'd put a bullet in my head if I ever lost you now.
Never even owned a bed.
Just a blood red couch" made me think that he is talking to us directly.

I think when he said crazy again it was on purpose. I personally think that he wanted to show that she was stuck in her head again. She felt like nobody loved her. Everytime he leaves she feels like he is never going to return or their love will be different.

I always thought of this line as a message that this girl's parents were disconnected with her and therefore she didn't feel the love she gives off to other people in her life. She had one million reasons to hate everything, but yet she loves everyone. She wants to know what happens when she dies. Will her parents even notice? These things make her feel like she is literally crazy.
