I have been listening to this song for a "long" time and got the image "he" is wanting to let her go but today i was listening to this song and hurts me deeply to hear their souls/emotion singing this beautiful song. As I was relating this song to my relationship it hits me when he says "tell me how do you know how to let go..." This song spoke to my spirit and. This is me and it really hurts when someone you love leaves you. She left him and he is asking her how do can you do that to someone you love because he cannot.
