The meaning of this song is the guy moves and he leaves his gf behind and she misses him alot and he tells her that if she can w8 for him then they'll b together for as long as they live but he needs the word from his family to go see her. Then she just wants to b friends with him because she can't stand the pain and the suffering, she can't tke it anymore. So she tells him lets just b friends for now cuz I can't do this anymore. And hes devastated.
