I think the character has been playing around on his girl. People call him crazy for doin it but he feels that's what he is: a player. But eventually he realizes that what he wants is this girl, and as she was getting rid of him, he kept trying to keep her. Now he wants her to come back. This song shows you just how awsome Shadow's vocals are. If you don't understand, try blairing themout like him in that range. Yeah.

Wow, Disturbed is a really powerful band. It's one of those rare newer lyrics, but still old school kind of driveing melody. If you watch the full video its a lot easier to get this. He is seriously thinking about suicide because he wants to be with Devon. But in the end he beats it. I like that part. Also, the lead guitar wtf! One of the coolest solos I've ever heard. And that tapping technique is really interesting.

This is such an awsome song! Maybe its because I can really relate to it, but its about a girl that he wants so bad, and has probably had her at some point, but has now lost her. He moves away, and loses touch with her, but still loves her. There are probably a lot of things going wrong (rain) and he just wishes that someone would help him out (sun). He just wants all the bad stuff to go away.
