Well I guess this guy probably knew right from onset, nothing was ever gonna work out fine in his hands. He obviously lied to a girl claiming he loves her but deep down, he loves two different things, "drugs" n "alcohol" Even though the girl seems to love him back, he also has vices (which makes him say or do things abnormal) so therefore she shouldn't take his words seriously. "Everything I touch turns to stone" everything (relationship and others) he got involved in never works out. It may start on a very high spirit but never profits, dies before the finish line. "so wrap your hands around me, and leave me alone" let them have their last moments together before they path ways or say their last goodbye. . I can't hold on" he cannot continue in the what he started because he certainly knows it's not going to work out fine.
