Meaning

Til my dying day, I will believe that Hank Williams Sr. turned his life around and he DID see the light. I will also believe that he died of a heart attack and yes it no doubt was fueled by his years of alcohol and maybe drugs but he died a Christian and God had forgiven him ALL his sins. He is now in Heaven and I pray that one day I will hear his beautiful voice again.

I believe he is talking about Bosephus and from the looks of Hank Williams Jr. i believe every word and I can just seem him as his Dad sings this song. Hank Williams was the best of his time and remains the best today, not only in writing songs from the heart but singing them as well.

Meaning

It brings back some of the best memories of my life. Hank Williams was the man is our house. Listened to his music every Friday/ Saturday night on the Red River Round Up and Louisiana Hayride. No one but no one can ever out sing or out write this Angel on earth now an Angel in Heaven.
