Sometimes we simply need to go deep where the calm resides beyond the surface that roils and moves. There is a stillness deep within us which, when we allow and seek it, calms our turmoil. This contrasts to the waves that "take all my worry and conquer them with fury." Sometimes we need the calm, sometimes the waves - the river holds both possibilities as does life itself.
