The guy likes this girl and hes planning on telling her that night, later on she walks up to him but he spazzes out and starts think about going out for a smoke or just saying hi real quick, but he know if he does, he'll be pissed off about it for the next 2 weeks. Now he's thinking that it's probably just a regular little crush, and he wants it to stop but it keeps growing and he can help but think of holding her tight and having s** with her fiercely. After he calms down he goes over to her and talks to her even though their both shy about it, then she grabs his hand and tells him that she likes him. To me it means, the guy has done things in the past that hurt his girl and made them argue, and he feels totally bad about it but he can't get over it. Since he can't get over it, he's starting to distance himself from her because he doesn't want to hurt her. No matter what they keep arguing so he asks her, "if this aint love then how do we get out". So she tells him, " i dont hate you"and that she loves him to much to give up on him, and she wants to help him get through his problems. He tells her he loves her but feels that he's not the right man for her.
