I think this song is about a couple that broke up over things he did. But he still loves her very much and can't get over her. And every night when he goes to sleep he thinks about her and dreams about her and falls in love all over again. And he says don't try to change his mind because to him, there would be no reason to wake up in the morning if he didn't have her to love, because he can't find anyone else like her and he knows it. Loving her is all that keeps him going every day. And he wants her to think about him in her sleep too and remember all the good times they had and fall in love with him all over again too.
