This song is about how you can lose control of your life. People are telling you to change your ways and you can't stop doing stupid crap, can't stop ruining your life, all for that one person you think is worth it, that one person there with you. It's about how no one else exsits if you two have each other, even if you're headed down the wrong road, which is why they say "I'm asleep at the wheel/and still the streets/they call our names". Personally, I love this song because my boyfriend showed the band to me and I heard this song and I knew instantly what it meant to me, and that it was right on track with some of the stuff I've done in the past.
