This song is from SRK's Om Shanti Om, sung to the eyes of the beautiful, yet unreachable woman whom he admires and has fallen in love with as she floats past him. Part of her sari catches on his sleeve, yet he can't take his own eyes off her. His stare shows his heart is, quite literally in this scene, on his sleeve. The word "nazron" in the last part of the song is particularly nice since it indicates eyes in a deeper, broader sense of sight rather than just the physical "aankhon". He sees deeply into her (he believes) and his prayer is to sink even MORE deeply into her eyes, beyond (paar) the surface everyone else sees. One of my all time favorite songs, as the strangeness and strength of his heart being lifted by her breath/her eyes is accompanied by a "light-hearted" melody.

Explanation
"
Tere saath saath aisa
Koi noor aaya hai
Chaand teri raushni ka
Halka sa ik sayaa hai
Teri nazron ne dil ka kiya jo hasharr
Asarr ye hua
Ab inmein hi doobke ho jaaun paar
Yehi hai dua
With you like this, a light has come
The moon, in your bright light, seems like a shadow
Your eyes have such an effect on my heart, my body
Now to ever sink into them will be my only prayer.

Explanation
"
Aayi aisi raat hai jo
Bohat khush-naseeb hai
Chaahe jisse door se duniya
Vo mere kareeb hai
Kitna kuch kehna hai
Fir bhi hai dil mein sawaal kaheen
Sapnon mein jo roz kaha hai
wo phir se kahun Ya nahee
This is such a night of good luck!
My desire--to be away from the world, she so close to me
How much there is to say!
Yet, my heart still has so many questions!
Every day in dreams, I speak.
Shall I tell her again or not?
